Mechanical Design Engineering Intern

Full Time

As a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern, you will assist Senior Engineers in the design, test and development of assembly fixtures, test fixture, new products or product improvements.

Functions & Responsibilities

  • You will assemble electromechanical prototypes to print or as instructed by Sr. Engineers.
  • You will perform feasibility and verification testing of prototypes.
  • You will create test protocols and summary reports as instructed by Sr. Engineers.
  • You will assist in developing product specifications based on customer requirements.
  • You will assist in generating mechanical designs as part of a design team to meet specific product requirements.
  • You will perform other engineering tasks as directed by management and Sr. Engineers.

Job Requirements

  • You do not need experience in product development.
  • You must have a hands-on practical problem solving and test experience background.
  • You must possess good interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
  • You must be self-motivated with strong initiative to seek opportunities to contribute and learn.
  • You must have strong organizational skills.
  • You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Requirements

  • Declared Mechanical Engineering major with a minimum of 2 years completed course work.
  • GPA: 3.0 minimum
